Baptism and Christening Services
This beautiful service is done for both infants and adults.
Funeral and Memorial Services
For infants, the ceremony focuses on the responsibility of the parent/s to view the child as God’s gift to Life as well as to them and their family. There is a reminder that their acts will speak much more loudly than their voices and that this child can provide an opportunity to raise their thinking and behavior to a higher level than ever to provide an excellent example. The infant is gently sprinkled during the ceremony with water that has been blessed. They are then dedicated to God’s plan and God’s purposes.
Adult baptism is a ceremony that is chosen by an individual who sees the value in creating a line of demarcation between the old and the new. It’s an indication that a person has become committed to thinking and acting from a spiritual rather than a purely material, "this world" basis. It might include a deeper dedication to walking the spiritual path and making God an important, rather than peripheral, part of one’s life. This beautiful ceremony also includes sprinkling the person with blessed water.
Funeral and Memorial Services are performed in our church, at a mortuary chapel or at the gravesite.
The eulogy is always tailored specifically to the person and requires that the minister visit and interview the family so that details of the person’s life are accurate. The ceremony focuses on the spiritual truth of eternal life and the blessing that the deceased individual has been to their family, friends and acquaintances.
