How do we approach each new moment of each day?  Do we use it as an occasion for putting ourselves down or finding fault with ourselves, or do we acknowledge that it is a moment that we can be lifted into a higher state of consciousness with a stronger conviction of the truth?  Jesus said, “The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.”

            This moment at hand is important.  It was important then, and it is important now.  It was important to Jesus and it is important to us.  Jesus recognized a truth that applies to all humankind.  We must recognize that this truth also applies to us.

            We experience a greater glory, a greater joy, a greater sense of security, and a greater awareness of our oneness with God when we recognize that we have come to THIS MOMENT that, “the Son of man should be glorified.”  The experience confronting us is not to crush us, nor bind us.  Instead, we have come to this hour that God’s power, wisdom, and love might find greater expression through us, lifting us up and glorifying the child of God in us.

            Our spiritual thought for the day is:  I behold God in action in THIS moment of my life and I am blessed by His action through me.
