Weekly Thoughts To Uplift And Inspire

“Lord, make us a channel of thy peace.”  St. Francis of Assisi

We need to pray each day, not begging God, but asking for an opportunity to open our minds to God’s healing presence.  There is an effective and powerful way to align ourselves with Him.  We welcome Him into our lives, not as a stranger, nor an acquaintance, nor an honored guest, but as a loving Companion entering our spiritual home.  We release all fears that are troubling us and replace them with a consciousness that He is comforting, sustaining, guiding and protecting us from all evil.

As we relax and pray we are at peace saying: Dear Father-Mother God, make me a channel of your peace.  Erase any doubts I might harbor at this time, for you are my Inspiration and my Comfort.  I am always wrapped around “with infinite love and wisdom,” whether I am aware of it or not.

My faith is strong because you are working out any apparent problem for the best interests of everyone.  You inspire my mind with your goodness and mercy.  I rely solely on you.  You, my dear friend and Creator, are maintaining harmony in all my affairs.  My life is serene with promise.

Our spiritual thought for the day:  Today, I am a channel of God’s peace.
