Weekly Thoughts To Uplift And Inspire

Most of the time we find that daily living goes on smoothly, constructively, happily.  We rejoice in the accomplishment of work, the expression of right ideas, the giving of self in many ways.  Then all of a sudden we have an experience that startles and confuses us, disturbing the ordinary tranquility of our lives.  Now comes the real test of our religion.  Do we believe that God is a loving Father, or does His Presence seem far away?

What is your first reaction to the passing of a dear one, or to the loss of position, to illness or to financial difficulties?  Such challenging times come to all of us.  When they do, let us remember that God still is, His laws are in operation.  Nothing has changed in Reality.  Only appearances and conditions in the external have changed.

There is no loss, no sorrow, no accident in God.  Life is eternal; God-Love cares for Its own, and we are God’s own.  Abundance still is, but we must keep the contact in order to bring forth our portion according to the divine Intent.  Let us keep our thinking on God’s side.  God never fails.

Our spiritual thought for the day is:  I turn to Him and God never fails.  Thank you, dear God.
