In his letter to the Babylonian captives, Jeremiah wrote, (29:11) “I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” He went on to promise their future return to
Jerusalem
. Speaking for the Lord, he said, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
So it is for us. No matter how far from our Father we may stray, or how upsetting an experience may seem, we find that God is always ready to help us recover and climb ever higher in consciousness, when we seek Him with complete sincerity.
Our Divine Science textbook says, “It is an offense against God to believe that there are powers the opposite of His nature. It is clear that to think and believe in goodness, health, and life is to perceive and enjoy true harmony …. To this end each one should set aside time daily for thought training that he or she may see the truth of what God everywhere present is.
Our spiritual thought for the day is: Thank you, Father, that the fullness of Good is mine as I seek first your kingdom and your righteousness.
