Weekly Thoughts To Uplift And Inspire

Isaiah 33:6 “Wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation.”

We are living in a rapidly changing world.  The great mistake people make today is that they are seeking in the outer what they can only find within.  God, Truth, Reality are permanently resident right here within us.  What, then, is the stability of our times?  Stability comes from the truth that a divine or spiritual order is the foundation of all life.

God is that Universal Spirit in which and from which we all function.  If we are true to our spiritual nature, the divinely natural outworking of Good will take care of us.  It is well to remember that we are born into the spiritual order, not outside of it.  We are not clamoring for admission into the kingdom of heaven, for we are in heaven now.  It is “at hand,” as Jesus told us.  Our divinity is fundamental to our nature, not acquired.  We ourselves are individual units of the divine nature.

True religion is growth in consciousness.  Truth perceived, accepted, and lived is the stability of our times.  The Christ Spirit of life is present with and within every human soul, from savage to saint.  In the savage, the spiritual sense may be latent, but when the dormant seed of truth is exposed to the proper influences it starts to grow.

Our spiritual thought for the day is: My true nature is the image of God.  I feel that deeply.  I live from that basis, today.  Thank you, dear God.
