Shall we still ourselves for a time of meditation.
I am now quiet and relaxed. In this quiet state I feel confident, secure and at peace. In this peaceful state I know that God is ever with me as my invisible support. I am now aware that “underneath are the everlasting arms of God.” God sustains me and watches over me. The Spirit of God that made me helps me in overcoming all my difficulties.
I am not afraid of the future for the Spirit of God goes before me, making safe and secure my way. The Light of God illumines my pathway, so I cannot stumble or fall. I know that when I turn to God He turns to me. I am guided in all my ways by His infinite wisdom, so I make right decisions quickly.
I am never alone, for God is with me. The Bible tells us, “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer.” “It is God that girdeth me with strength.” “The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” I meet each day with faith and confidence, knowing that God is with me as my support.
Thank you, dear God.
