Weekly Thoughts To Uplift And Inspire

Mat. 6:11 “Give us this day our daily bread.”
Luke 12:32 “It is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

God does not expect us to eat the dry crusts of the past.  He doesn’t ask that we live on yesterday’s bread or yesterday’s ideas.

Whatever is outgrown and outworn we firmly put aside.  Old fears, sorrows and failures have no hold on us.  Neither are we content to rest on past achievements.  Each day brings us a fresh supply of hope and joy.  With each dawn comes the challenge to begin again. And we do begin again, boldly, joyously, gratefully.  We close the door gently, but firmly on the past.  We’re grateful for all its blessings, all the things the past has taught us, but today brings its own blessings, its own learning.  Today we renew our faith in life by living it courageously.  Each hour is a door opening to a fresh opportunity.  Every moment is an invitation to know and experience more of God and more of good.  We have forever in which to know and love and follow Him, and today, we do so gladly!

Our spiritual thought for the day is:  Today I renew my faith in God and in life.
