Weekly Thoughts To Uplift And Inspire
Mat. 13:12 “Whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.”
We had better be mindful of what we are thinking, because our thoughts are our prayers. If our thought, our prayer is negative, then the little we have will be taken from us.
You may say, “That’s a terrible law!” On the contrary, it is a very just law because when we are weary of attracting what we do not want, we shall grow up and begin to attract what is worth while. We begin to direct spiritual power affirmatively and to see one another as God sees us beautiful, radiant, whole, and free. We give of ourselves gladly, without self-concern, and from the pure motive of expressing the good right where we are. Our joy and enthusiasm in doing a good job brings harmony, prosperity, and security.
It is written, “Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows. Thou shalt decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”
Affirmative thought is the prayer of all spiritual seekers. We are “paying our vows” when we live what we believe. God knows what to do and is doing it through our consciousness as we identify with the ever-responsive, loving Father.
Our spiritual thought for the day is: I and the Father are ever one, and not two. I am in the Father and God is in me. Thank you, dear God.
