Psalms 23:6 “I will dwell I the house of the Lord for ever.”
When I wake in the morning, I praise my Father-God who is the very life within me. I feel the power of His love in and through me. As I go about my daily affairs, I know that they are also His affairs; that I am working in God’s house.
When I close my eyes at night, I give thanks for my Father’s loving protection while I sleep. He guards me as I rest in the safety of His house.
God is my constant Companion as I travel in His world. The great expanse of the universe is His house. I cannot step outside His house no matter how hard I might try. I will be forever with Him.
He is with me on the ground at the very moment that He is with another who is flying in a plane, as He was with an astronaut when he stepped on the moon. We are all dwelling within the house of the Lord. He rules His house and He is also supreme in my life and my activities.
I see God’s loving power everywhere in every situation. I feel His love and peace within me. Day or night, I am ever in the presence of my Father.
Our spiritual thought for the day is: My heavenly Father is my constant Companion. Thank you, Father-Mother God.
