Ephesians 4:26 “Let not the sun go down upon your wrath.”
A poet once said, “The world is a great mirror. It reflects back to you what you are.”
Have you ever looked in the mirror at a time when you were angry or experiencing hatred? Weren’t you astonished to see that contorted face? You probably changed that unhappy image quickly.
In times of anger, immediately turn to your Father-God. He helps you to build confidence in yourself. As you align yourself with Him, your confidence rises from within, for it is based on your spiritual nature. You are free of the damaging anger, free of the hatred that only tears you down physically and spiritually. Love floods through your being, bringing harmony to every condition.
You are handsome and beautiful when you radiate love. The spreading of love causes the warmth of joy to permeate you and those around you. The satisfaction of good then blesses you. You attract the good that God has already willed for you.
Keep an ongoing sense of your unity with God and your confidence will grow. As you are secure within, your joy will bubble forth. You will express greater power and perform greater service.
Our spiritual thought for the day is: I see each person as God sees them, so I cannot be angry. Thank you for your help, dear God.
