Weekly Thoughts To Uplift And Inspire

“I have come as light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.” - John 12:46

Many of the first-century Jews believed that there would be a final battle between the forces of light and the forces of darkness.  Jesus corrected this view by teaching that there is only one Power.  The only conflict is within the individual consciousness.  The Master explained that the I AM, or indwelling Christ, comes into our consciousness as light and illumination, dissolving the darkness of error and ignorance.

No matter what may perplex us, or how hopeless a situation may seem, God has the answer.  He is the answer.  Whatever the need, the Christ within will illumine us and show us the way to demonstrate our good.  “Cast your burden” on the Christ and go free, for within you is the unfailing source of wisdom and understanding.  “Thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”  (Psalms 119:105)

The supreme Mind fills the heavens and the earth, dissolving every false belief and condition.  Divine Scientists perceive the unity, oneness, all-ness of God.  As H.B. Jeffery wrote:  “With the single eye which sees only the Truth, and the real word in his mouth … man begins to live with the sense of Christhood – Christ in him, his glory and his power.”

Our spiritual thought for the day:  I am unfettered, unbound, triumphant, glorious, splendid, free!  Thank you, dear God.
