“My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory.”
- Philippians 4:19
No truer words were ever written. When each of us can accept without question the truth that the Creator is absolutely the one and only Source of all our needs, physical, material and emotional, fear and feelings of insecurity will disappear. So long as we are steadfast in believing it, we will never want for any good that is in heaven or earth.
In “Truth and Health,” Fannie B. James said: Not only is it desirable to be awake to “the richness of Divine Nature,” but also to “affirm love, confidence, fullness, and understanding. Live unselfishly … do your part bravely in life’s duties, love all that you have to do, and perform all duties heartily ‘as unto the Lord. Owe no man anything.’”
It is unnecessary for us to get anxious about what we think we want. If it is right for us, it will come! Do not fret. Remember God’s opulence which He is so willing to share. Acknowledge your desires and release them to Him who knows all, sees all, controls all. “Only believe, only believe” should be our rule in life.
Our spiritual thought for the day: Thank you, Father, for providing so bountifully for me.
