“Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all those things shall be added unto you. ” - Matthew 6:33
The kingdom of God within us is the realm from which flow all our blessings. It is the eternal homeland of the soul. When we abide in it mentally, we are satisfied and at peace. When we do not know it, we at the mercy of the outer world, which is constantly changing. Only the inner is permanent and indestructible. When we realize that all causation is from within, we have found the secret to successful living, and we are no longer victims of outer conditions.
Jesus told us to seek this inner kingdom first. It encompasses an infinity of right ideas, including those of health, love and abundance. We do not create health or abundance by right thinking or by praying, but when we think in a right way, when we pray affirmatively, we become able to receive and accept the right experience. Again, the law is: as in mind, so in manifestation; as within, so without.
There is only one God, only one universal Mind. The Mind of God within us is our pearl of great price. We sell all we have, let go of all other seemingly important ideas to acquire it. All that the Father hath is ours. This understanding provides us forever with all the good that we can accept.
